Executive Session<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The monthly Executive Board Meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM in Executive Session<\/p>\n

In attendance Sheila Duncan,\u00a0 Luther Weeks,\u00a0 Ed Litke, Larry Abbott,\u00a0 Tom Lombardo and Connie Liscomb<\/p>\n

Executive Session adjourned at 1:21 PM<\/p>\n

Open Session<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Open Session was called to order at \u00a0\u00a01:33 PM with the Directors and Manager noted above present.<\/p>\n

Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The minutes from last month board were unanimously approved by earlier email vote.<\/p>\n

President Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luther Weeks stated that Bob Kolwicz has been added to the maintenance committee.<\/p>\n

Financial Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n

Larry Abbott reviewed; the 2018 audit should be completed in the next two weeks<\/p>\n

The budget committee will meet in September to develop recommendations for the 2020 budget.<\/p>\n

Friends of The River<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roger Bouchard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Final spraying last week on the hill and overgrowth from road to river<\/p>\n

Will submit budget requests for next year\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maintenance Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luther Weeks Summary:<\/p>\n

Capital Project Budget recommendation<\/p>\n

Large flat roofs should be budgeted to include building a slope.<\/p>\n

Mulching recommendation<\/p>\n

Recommend that the Executive Board accept an offer from Highlight of $10,000 in 2020 for mulch and mulching all areas and request that the Budget Committee include that in the 2020 Budget.<\/p>\n

Open Forum<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Unit owners recommendation and discussion regarding changing time of board meetings<\/p>\n

Proposals discussed to have rails installed on bridge leading to riverfront.<\/p>\n

Variance requests discussed<\/p>\n

Sheila Duncan reviewed calendar<\/p>\n

Luther Weeks moved that \u00a0Board not change the board meetings times to evenings hours<\/p>\n

Amendment moved by Ed Litke that Board have a quarterly listening session in the evenings to enable home owners who cannot make afternoon monthly meetings an opportunity to know what is happening<\/p>\n

We should try this for a limited time period<\/p>\n

Motion seconded by Larry Abbott<\/p>\n
