You will see some new street signs popping up this spring around Meadow Hill. Now your friends will find it easier to locate your home. But that is not the only reason.

Please move your car away from the garage door parking area before a storm starts. Darien and Tim want to continue keeping our parking areas as clean as possible.

The budget report for January shows net income of $8,077, however, this is somewhat inflated since payroll was lower than normal; Tim being on Workers Compensation for the entire month due to an injury. As noted at the board meeting, legal costs are a concern since we have spent half the allotted annual budget in the month of January alone. Insurance premiums also appear to have increased beyond the budget set last December. In addition to snow removal costs (that will impact February), legal and insurance are two areas that have to be watched carefully.

The greenhouse, an appreciated amenity of Meadow Hill, adds color to our rather bleak March landscape. Remember to water your plants. Sandy MacGregor

It’s not too early to give serious consideration to becoming a member of the Meadow Hill Board of Directors. This June at least two positions on the Board will become available and will be voted on by the unit owners. Candidates for these positions may come from the board members whose terms are expiring and who wish to be reelected or from unit owners not currently on the board.

Some owners have chosen to leave a key to their unit with the maintenance department. This is helpful in case you become locked out of your unit or if there is an emergency and the maintenance department or police/fire personnel must access your unit.

Please remember that Meadow Hill Rules and Regulations restrict unit owner plantings to the area within four feet from the foundation.
