Thanksgiving, that glorious Holiday dedicated to giving Thanks for so much in all our lives has passed. A gift so appreciated by many in our community heralded the inherent warmth and friendship in this truly American Day of Thanking. This gift was a “Neighbors Meeting Neighbors” gathering at the clubhouse to enjoy the pleasures of being together with friendly, happy neighbors. The efforts of all who attended ranged from the “home cooked” food, the efforts so arduously to make the atmosphere even more enjoyable, the pleasant conversations and smiles that surrounded everyone, the welcoming and meeting of so many interesting people, and the sun’s brightly colored rays that streamed through the windows to add to the beauty, was truly a gift to be thankful for. Thanksgiving, is also the first step on the path to the Holiday Season soon to be with us. The reflection of the lights, flickering candles, miracles, renewed dedications, and the joy of seeing in our minds the memories of these periods of the years.
Our thanks deserving, for all the happiness so freely given making the gathering a success. Congratulations to the committee, the volunteers who helped, and the chairpersons Fran, Linda, and Sharon. Truly, a Meadow Hill Moment!!
