We are asking you to approve proposed changes to our charter, changes that your board unanimously supports. The objective of the changes is to better clarify the language surrounding Meadow Hill age restrictions.
Please read the proposed amendment carefully and if you agree, please sign your agreement on the final page. You may mail that final page to APM or put it in the door where you leave monthly payment fee.
Here are the important points that the new amendment will clarify: *Meadow Hill is an age 55 community- meaning that each unit must have a resident age 55 or older. All new sales/leases must result in having a resident age 55 or over. *There is a 20% leeway to this restriction to cover those times when a deceased aged 55 resident is survived by an existing resident less than age 55. *The 20% leeway replaces the current 15% to bring our documents in line with Federal law. *Meadow Hill has the right to recovery all legal costs should enforcement of the age 55 restriction become necessary.
Please note that your Board of Directors considers approval of this amendment an important matter for our community.
