For those 49 units where we do not have an email address, a paper copy is being delivered to the door for the very last time. Paper recipients are receiving a cover letter with the Lark, advising them which of several outside boxes should be accessed to pick up their copy beginning with the November issue.

A New Era for the Lark
As you may be aware, after 9 years of meritorious and faithful service, the staff decided it was time to ‘retire’ and pass the Lark to a new staff. We’re beginning to put together that new staff, and would very much welcome anyone who can write or possibly distribute the papers.
Crabgrass!
Late summer has brought the usual invasion of crabgrass to Meadow Hill. Despite numerous and expensive treatments with pre- emergent chemicals year after year, we seem no further ahead in our effort to subdue it
Westside Landscaping Update
As I write to you today summer has returned in its usual late season form. Higher temperatures, lack of rain and soil conditions have turned the turf into its late season form. The sandy soil conditions have allowed the Crabgrass to flourish from the paving project and the past years stressed conditions. Weeds have taken over due to the stressed conditions.

July 18th event a success
The get together held on July 18 was enjoyed by all who attended. We have some good cooks at Meadow Hill who were willing to share their dishes.
