Neighbors Meeting Neighbors – Feb Issue

The day was bright and cold, the snow, which had ice as its cover, sparkled and shone as we walked.  Sometimes we had to walk, albeit carefully, on the glistening ice patches. Sometimes we walked in the snow which left our footprints barely discernable.  And sometimes, when we reached the dry road, we walked quickly to leave the cold as soon as possible.

Coats, hats, gloves, and scarves were happily removed when we reached the “Neighbors Meeting Neighbors” Winter Lunch at the Clubhouse on Saturday afternoon, January 24.

The warmth that enveloped all was more than the warmth of the building.  It was the pleasure of the friendship and company of the many who attended.  A True gift!!!

Laughter, good conversations, meeting new neighbors, repast tendered so pleasantly, the table decoration, and the encompassing efforts of the committee made everyone enjoy the hours. It was fun for all!

Our compliments are genuinely extended to Fran and Dan Kaplan, Linda and David Fillion, Sharon Tucker, and all who graciously helped, for giving and encouraging all who attended to have a wonderful afternoon.  Our thanks, resounded by all of us, are truly, truly, meant!
